Each room, and who it suits

Double bed with a cream and green runner, a wooden floor and doors to a small balcony

28 m² · City side · Double or twin

Superior

The entry room: wooden floor, a double bed or two singles, a desk and, according to the hotel, a balcony. It faces the street side of the block rather than the river, and the hotel does not add extra beds in this type.

Book it if you arrive late, leave early and spend your day on the boats. Skip it if the river view is the reason you came.

Deluxe River View

Same size as the Superior but on the river side, on floors one to three. Glass doors open to the light off the Ham Luong; on the lower floors the coconut palms of the garden sit between you and the water.

Book it if you want the river at the smallest size and ask for a higher floor. Skip it if you want a bathtub — these rooms have a walk-in shower.

Suite

Top-floor rooms under the mansard roof, with sloping ceilings and a bathroom of grey stone, stone basins and a bathtub under a dormer window. Sold in river and city views and with a double bed or two singles.

Book it if you want a bathtub and an attic feel at a step up from Deluxe. Skip it if you are very tall and dislike sloping ceilings near the bed.

Book it if you stay two nights or more and want somewhere to sit inside. Skip it if you are four people — the family rooms fit you better.

55 m² · River view · 1 double + 2 single

Family Deluxe

One large room with a double bed and two single beds, so a family of four needs no extra bed. Windows face the river, and there is one bathroom with a shower.

72 m² · River · 2 double beds

Family Riverside bungalow

A single-storey house away from the main block, on the lawn beside the river, with two double beds and a private garden opening onto the water. The hotel describes an outdoor bathtub and an in-room safe; it appears to be a single unit.

How to get the right room at Ben Tre Riverside

01

Match by size and view

Booking sites rename rooms. A “Double Suite” is the 40 m² Suite, and a “Family Suite” or “Riverside Family Bungalow” is the 72 m² house. Read the m² and the view before the name.

02

Ask for a high floor

Suites are all on the top floor. For Deluxe rooms on floors one to three, write “high floor, river side” in the booking note; it is a request, not a guarantee.

03

Ask about weekend events

If your dates fall on a weekend, ask the hotel whether a wedding is booked and request a room away from the banquet side.

Honest note

Interiors date from the 2015 opening: wooden floors, patterned tiles and stone bathrooms are in good order in the hotel’s photos, but reviews mention worn furniture and fittings in places, and suites under the roof have sloping ceilings.

Questions about rooms at Ben Tre Riverside

Is a Superior room at Ben Tre Riverside worth booking?

It is fine for a short stop. Superior rooms are 28 m², the same size as the Deluxe, with a double bed or two singles and, according to the hotel, a balcony. The difference is the outlook: they face the city side, not the Ham Luong. If you will be out on the boats all day and arrive after dark, the view matters less.

Do the suites at Ben Tre Riverside have one bed or two?

Either. The 40 m² Suite is sold with a double bed or two single beds, in both river and city views, so pick the bed type carefully on the booking page. The 45 m² Executive Suite has one double bed and a sofa corner instead. Both are on the top floor and both have a bathtub.

Can I add an extra bed at Ben Tre Riverside?

In some room types, yes. The hotel says Superior rooms take no extra bed, and the Family Deluxe already sleeps four. An older Vietnamese price list showed about VND 460,000 for an extra bed, but that figure may have changed. Ask the hotel before you book if your group needs one.

Is the Family Deluxe at Ben Tre Riverside one room or two?

One. The Family Deluxe is a single 55 m² room with a double bed and two single beds, river-facing windows and one bathroom. It works well for parents with two younger children. If teenagers or a second couple need their own space, book two rooms or the Family Riverside bungalow, which has more floor space.

Does the Family Riverside bungalow at Ben Tre Riverside have its own garden?

Yes. The hotel describes the 72 m² Family Riverside house with a private garden that opens onto the river, an outdoor bathtub and an in-room safe, set apart from the main building. Booking sites sell it under different names, so check the size before you book and ask the hotel to confirm the garden features.

Are the rooms at Ben Tre Riverside quiet?

Mostly, but not always. Some reviews mention thin walls and noise from weddings or parties in the grounds. Rooms on the river side and higher floors are further from the street, and you can ask for a room away from the banquet hall. Bring earplugs if you sleep lightly and your dates fall on a weekend.

Choose your river view, then check the dates

From 28 m² doubles to the bungalow on the riverbank, every room type is listed on the booking page with live availability.
