What each facility is really like

Free-form blue pool with palm islands and sun loungers beside a wide river

2 outdoor pools · 0.45–1.45 m

The pools

The main pool curves in front of the hotel block with a small palm island, blue umbrellas and loungers, and the river just beyond the garden. A smaller oval pool sits in the garden. Both are shallow enough for children and easy swims.

Good for families and lazy afternoons between boat trips. Not for swimming laps — neither pool is built for it.

The main restaurant serves Mekong and coconut-country dishes plus Asian, Western and vegetarian menus, and doubles as the banquet hall. Breakfast runs from 6 to 9:30 am and is included only in some rates.

Making the most of Ben Tre Riverside’s facilities

01

Swim early or late

The pools have little shade at midday. Go before 9 am or after 4 pm, when the light on the river is softer.

02

Book the boat a day ahead

Ask reception about the Sunflower cruise and the hotel’s own tours the day before; small groups pay a flat fee, so share it if you can.

03

Bring repellent for the jetty

Dusk on the river brings mosquitoes. A light long-sleeved top and repellent make the sunset on the jetty far more pleasant.

Honest note

Several reviews call the gym and play areas dated and breakfast basic. There is no spa on the hotel’s list, and the pools are shallow (up to 1.45 m), so serious swimmers may be disappointed.

Questions about facilities at Ben Tre Riverside

Is the pool at Ben Tre Riverside heated?

No heated pool is listed. Both pools are outdoors, and in the Mekong Delta, where the average temperature sits around 26–27 °C all year, the water stays warm without heating. In the dry-season months the midday sun is strong, so morning and late-afternoon swims are the most comfortable.

Can non-guests eat or visit the garden at Ben Tre Riverside?

The restaurant and bistro are open to outside guests — Hoang Lam hosts weddings and banquets for local families. Riverside Garden is open from 8 am to 5 pm, but a fee for non-guests is not published, so ask the hotel before you visit. Hotel guests use the garden free.

Does Ben Tre Riverside run its own tours?

Yes. The hotel sells its own trips, including Memories of Ham Luong (8:30 am to 1:30 pm), a firefly tour that leaves at 5 pm on dry, moonless nights, a craft-village trip and a two-day coconut-country package. In 2026 its published prices ran from about VND 230,000 to 1.79 million a person.

What is the Love Bridge at Ben Tre Riverside?

It is a small bridge in Riverside Garden where couples hang padlocks, and it is the meeting point for the Sunflower sunset cruise, which boards at 4:45 pm. It is a popular photo spot at the end of the afternoon, before the garden closes at 5 pm.

Is there room service at Ben Tre Riverside?

Listings show 24-hour room service, along with laundry and a 24-hour front desk. Late at night the choice is likely to be shorter than the restaurant menu, so ask what is available when you check in.

Does Ben Tre Riverside have a games room or library?

Yes. There is a games room with table tennis and table football, and the lobby has a reading corner with bookshelves, a few computers and massage chairs. Karaoke rooms are listed as a paid extra. They are handy on rainy afternoons from May to November.

Pool by day, the river by night

Two pools, a rooftop for sunset and a garden by the water, all a short walk from your room.
